Minalima: Makers of magic

Propella, with the Studio MinaLima team and Art Director at Lucca Crea, curated and project managed this exhibition at Lucca Comics & Games Festival 2024. Taking over San Cristoforo Church in the centre of the medieval walled city, the display brought to life the work of MinaLima. Taking the form of giant books, the visitors were drawn through exhibits which included the Illustrated Classics series of fairy tales and the first three Harry Potter™ books. This was the biggest exhibition of work from MinaLima and showcased original graphic props from the Harry Potter franchise, never before seen illustrations and blown up graphics.

Designing, installing and then overseeing the execution of the exhibition from start to finish, Propella worked closely with an Italian team in Lucca to pull this exhibition together. The MinaLima exhibition saw 30k visitors across 5 days.
